I am Julian Cordle, and I am a second-generation photographer born in Anchorage, Alaska. I was raised by my mother Linda, a professional photographer for the Anchorage Daily News for many years.
I grew up seeing the beauty and art of photography from an early age. I remember the smell of developer chemicals in our home darkroom. As time went on, I worked at perfecting the view of the world around me through my own lens. I have learned much, but still consider myself a constant student of the art.
I have always loved the technical perfection of aviation, and taking photos of these beautiful machines is truly enjoyable. Having worked with youth sports for years, I have turned my camera there for capturing the wonderful moments of humanity in athletics and sport. Additionally, I have enjoyed amateur and professional motorsports for years, so it was only natural to use my photographic eye here, especially when capturing my son Jeremiah behind the wheel.
